About this guide

It makes it unlawful to discriminate against Disabled people and it requires providers of goods and services, public bodies, landlords letting agencies and housing associations to take steps to eliminate the barriers disabled people face.
If you find it difficult or impossible to access a service, if you get fewer choice or benefits from a service compared to others, if you are bullied because of being disabled when you use a service it is very likely you are discriminated against.
